Let’s talk basics of vinyasa! Simply defined, vinyasa translates to breath with movement.
In this workshop we’ll study some of the fundamentals about how to move with ease and clarity in the most common yoga shapes we see in vinyasa classes. Topics include breathing techniques and the importance of pranayama to keep us present and fueled for movement.
We will cover the ever elusive chatarunga and how to build efficient strength, along with other classic postures seen in Sun Salutations A and B.
Expect some flowing, posture breakdowns, anatomical conversation, and discovery! Practice will be informative and accessible for both beginner and practiced yogis.
